[EU] Sword & Musket - Alpha Cavalry Tournament [2024]

Welcome to the Alpha Cavalry Tournament 2024​

This tournament will take place over approximately 1–2 months depending on attendance and will start on the 26th of August 2024.

The tournament will be fought in small 5v5 cavalry-groupfight matches.

The aim is to see how viable the current cavalry is, and we would greatly appreciate a detailed review on how you liked the whole ordeal.

The rules will be as follows:

1. No shooting.
2. No wallhugging / rockhugging / treehugging.
3. 7 men per roster.
4. The match has to be balanced perfectly.
5. Both teams have to stay at spawn at the beginning of a round, and wait for the referee to write "Go" in admin chat before moving out. Referees do not have to ask if ready, however officers might ask for breaks, and they will be granted (max 5 minutes).
6. Matches will be played in first to 5. Semi and Finals first to 7
7. Matches have to be played with 1 referee. Teams have to choose a referee when they organize their match.
8. Matches have to be played on the official servers.
9. Matchweeks last from Monday to the Monday of the week after.
10. Each team has to play one match per week. Extra days might be given, but only a few. Do not abuse it and try to play your match during its matchweek.
11. If a team doesn't show up on the announced date of a match, then the other regiment gets the win.
12. At the end of the tournament, if a winner-deciding match results in a draw, then a rematch has to be played. If the rematch is a draw, then the team with the best rounds difference wins the tournament.
13. Picking enemy weapons and horses is allowed.
14. Behave ! Do not tea-bag, and keep the global chat to a minimum.
15. During a match, referees are to be listened to and obeyed. If you have any complaint to make, wait for the match to end and do it on this thread.
16. Teams are created by yourself.
17. Allowed classes: Hussars. Cuirassiers. The Chosen unit has to be kept for the whole Tournament.
18. It's not allowed to be in several teams.
19. You can add up to 5 people to the roster during the tournament.​
