Established by Jerome Bonaparte, the Westphalen Military was a model army to the rest of the Confederation of the Rhine! Though small, the army came to establish itself as a capable and skilled fighting force fighting in almost every theatre within the Napoleonic Wars, from the German States of the Confederation of the Rhine, being involved in the Peninsular War, the invasion of Russia, and even, after it's impending attack, still serving during the defense of France in 1814.
Jerome had established an elite yet expensive unit known as the WestfΓ€lische Garde Korps. It was historically an elite force of soldiers established by King Jerome of Westphalia. Just like Napoleon's own Imperial Guard, it was meant to provide a solid core of loyal troops for the army. Although it was smaller in number, it was meant to provide a solid body of loyal soldiers. Garde Korps was usually thrown into the battle to commit to significant break thoughts rather than a reserve held back. Westphalian Guard Troops distinguished themselves at the Battle of Borodino when they charged the Raevski Redoubt and cleared skirmishes alongside Polish troops.
Our community is primarily NA-based, but we also accommodate EU timezones and events. As always, we welcome everyone and seek to establish a chill and positive environment! Sundays and Tuesdays are our break days, but we may have special events, depending on our holidays!
